Hi all, I'd like to share information about any LINGO family in Orange Co. NC, from the colonial era through the 1900s. My wife's LINGO family came from Scotland to Va. in the 1600s, and on to Tenn. in the 1830s from NC, and there was at least one LINGO in Orange Co. NC and that region I'm interested in. There's not much on Orange Co. in local libraries way out here in San Antonio, so I'm hoping to make some connections with others who have access to Orange Co. NC records -- I'll be glad to exchange work and correspond with anyone having LINGO heritage.
