As you probably noticed, we are now getting messages 'gatewayed' from the Ancestry/RootsWeb message board for Orange County, NC. The people posting these messages may be replying to a message in the board without quoting that would mean nothing to us on the mailing list. You may see messages that mean nothing to your or even to Orange Co, NC. My choice is to allow the gateway or not - no monitering of individual messages. I am going to ask 3 things of the members of this list. 1. MOST IMMPORTANT - Make you comments to me privately at [email protected] I do not want the list cluttered with this. I will report a summary to the list. 2. Tell me if you think the gatewayed messages are an asset to the mailing list or not. Keep in mind that I have no way of monitoring these messages. If they are off topic - so be it. 3. If you reply to oone of these gatewayed messaged, please use the link to reply on the message board. Your reply will automatically be 'gatedwayed' to the mailing list. I personally think this will be an asset to the mailing list. But, I need your opinion. Thanks.
