22 September 2001 Can anyone identify this Hughes family (Will below). The Will of John Hughes was written 14 April 1827 Orange County, North Carolina. Probated 1836. The original can be found in the North Carolina State Archives. I think it is probably the John Hughes who married Mary Elizabeth Strader, but I have no real proof of this or even their marriage.
