    1. Re: [NCORANGE] Germans of Orange & Alamance Simpson
    2. I don't know if this would help, or not, but I have a Simpson born a generation earlier than Lemuel . Sarah Mary Simpson was born 1743 in Culpepper County, VA. Perhaps you can look for Simpsons there to find a connection. Husband: Sampson BOBO, SR. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Born: 1738 at: France Married: 1762 at: Culpepper County, Virginia Died: 1806 at: Woodruff, Spartanburg County, South Carolina Father:Spencer BOBO, SR. Mother:Jane WOFFORD Other Spouses: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Wife: Sarah Mary SIMPSON ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Born: 1743 at: Culpepper County, Virginia Died: 16 FEB 1816 at: Woodruff, Spartanburg County, South Carolina Cornelia Holmes Carl, I, too am very interested in the Simpson line in Orange County now considered Alamance. My husband line starts with Lemeul Simpson born in 1796 and died in Alamance in 1881. He had many children. We are assuming Lemuel's father was Benjamin Swain Simpson whose father is Samuel Simpson of whom you are talking about. We have not been able to prove the Benjamin Swain connection to Lemeul and would love to know more. Please let me know what connections if any you might have. Thank you Shauna Simpson ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
