Benjamin Swain Simpson married Mary Wyatt in Chowan County, NC on Jan. 27, 1791, marriage bond #00023623. Bondsman was Samuel Simpson. I have in my notes that Mary was the daughter of Joshua Wyatt and Elizabeth. I also have Lemuel's three marriages, as you have previously found. Incidentally, Luke Simpson was the bondsman in Lemuel's marriage to Margaret Garrison. I am trying to prove my descendency from Luke. My notes indicate that Margaret Dickey was Lemuel's mother, but I can not specifically confirm this. I am trying to prove that I descend from Luke Simpson, Samuel Swain Simpson's brother, so I haven't spent that much time on Benjamin Swain Simpson's line. Hope you can give me some help with Henry Simpson. He died young, and there is little to go on.
