I am looking for the origins of James NUNN, whose widow and children are found in Granville Co c1796. Recently I have seen that there were NUNNs in Orange Co in the 1700s. My great-great-great-grandfather, William AKIN, married Polly NUNN in 1797. Her mother was Lucy (perhaps CLAYTON), widow of James (or possibly Dennis) NUNN. Does anyone know of this family?
