Can anyone help me with this family? How about ALLEN, JOSEPH, 1770, John, William, Daniel or ALLEN, ISAAC, Mary (wife) Thanks for your help. Jan Riess >> Hi Jan, I am not sure if this is pertinent to your family of Allens or not, but there is an old Allen house located at the Alamance Battleground Park, a fine old example of a log cabin built in the early years of Orange County, as I remember. Perhaps your Allens were in the part of Orange which became Alamance County in 1849. As I recall there is some information on the Allen family of Alamance in the Alamance County Legacy Book, a publication put out by the Alamance County Historical Society. Best of luck, John Fox Winston Salem, NC
