The "taylor" question referred to the Faucettes of Orange County. My great great grandmother was also a Faucette from that county. Her name is Nancy Faucett Cary. She married David T. Cary. She helped to raise a child he had from another woman that I cant prove marriage too. She is buried at Walnut Grove Church in Orange County. This is not a part of the county that became Alamance County it is still considered Orange County. Also, you inquired about J. Taylor on marriage bonds. I would like to know who this is also because it appears on the marriage bond of my ggggrandafather and grandmother Jordan Cary and Sally Parker Cary. I dont think it was a witness as in a family friend. I honestly think it was a witness from the county because I've seen the name all over the place.
