I am looking for a record of the first wife of John Russell who married Elizabeth Webb in Orange County on 12 Sep 1804. John had a daughter, Rebecca, born in 1802, and a son, James, born in 1804, so I am fairly certain he was married before, but can find no trace of that earlier marriage. Thanks for any help.
