    3. My Hart Family in the 1840's were in Orange county Northern Division and then the Northern Division of Alamance in 1850 and in 1860 the town of Graham is listed on the census and then in 1870 Pleasant Grove. I have taking a DNA test and have had a match with a Hart from Kentucky who goes back to the Harts who were intermarried with the Strayhorns of the New Hope Church, which I believe to be around the Hillsboro area. Im having trouble making ties with my Harts in documentation. In the census records they were neighbors with names like Shaw, Allen, Wyatt, Byrd and even intermarried with some of these families. Was Alamance a German Area???
