I have just received from the North Carolina Division of Archives and History a survey of 85 acres in Orange County in 1799 for Henry Strader Senior. It is very helpful in listing his uncle John and his son Daniel as witnesses. The land adjoins his own and his uncle George's. The 85 acres are bounded on one side by Travis Creek and another by the Guilford County line. Travis Creek must have been renamed since then. Can anyone tell me its new name?
