James NUNN died before 1792 leaving his wife, Lucy (CLAYTON?), and children Thomas, Mary (Polly), Betsey and Patsey. Lucy subsequently married William Byars in Granville Co where James' estate was admin- istered. In one record he was referred to as Dennis NUNN. There were NUNNs in Orange Co at this time, so James might have come from there. Also there is a record of James, Jane and Thomas NUNN on the rent roll of King and Queen Co VA in 1782.
