A. Turner, died suddenly at his home in Raleigh about three o’clock. If he had not been in his usual health, she had not been advised. Mrs. Scott left yesterday morning for Raleigh. Mrs. Scott’s many friends sympathize with her sad bereavement. Mr. Turner was seventy-four years of age. He was a Confederate veteran, and is survived by his widow and several children. [end]
