I just got back from the FARMER CEMETERY in Benton Co. Tn. and found this tombstone that I thought might be of interest to someone. Though this is not my ancestor. GEORGE WASHINGTON FARMER , Born Sept. 21, 1795 in Orange Co. NC. Died March 7, 1876 In Benton Co. Tn. Aged 80 yrs. 5 mos. 16 days. Also another stone on this same grave has ; GEORGE WASHINGTON FARMER 1795 - 1876 , 38th Tennessee Militia , War of 1812. On either side of George is ; KATHERINE FARMER , 1st wife of G.W.Farmer, born 1800, died Aug. 20,1875. On the other side of George is ; ELIZABETH FARMER 2nd wife of G. W. Farmer , born 1800 , died Aug. 20, 1875. I hope this might be of help to someone looking for their Farmer relatives.
