Some libraries have a subscription to HQ. HQ has books and census records online. You have to use the computers at the library or get a login from your librarian to use at home. When I did a search for Orange County NC, several books came up. When I looked at some of my names, what was written was Bill of Sale type information. Can you give us the URL of the online books? A search of Orange Co. brings up way too much to sort out.
