    3. I am researcing James ROACH, died Orange County NC in February 1792. His wife's name was Ann (perhaps) THOMPSON. James' property is now located in Alamance County. He was my 5th g-grandfather. I descend through his oldest son, Absalom, who married Mary MIDDLETON. The widow, Ann, married a John READING/REDDING in 1798, and promptly disappered. I have not been able to find her or John anywhere since their marriage. James' oldest daughter, Elleanor/Ellender, married a RAY. I haven't found much prior to James' death, and nothing on Mary Middleton. I don't know who James' parents were, and I don't know who Ann's parents were. I have been stuck here for about 20 years. Any little shred of information will be greatly appreciated. If anyone needs help with research in Texas, particularly in Travis, Hays, and Caldwell Counties, I'll be glad to help you if I can Betty Roach Braune Austin TX Mary: Sharp and Sykes are also names I know. Lou: Do you have Mebane's around Lockhart, Caldwell County, Texas? There were some there. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mary Ellis" <mwellis@triad.rr.com> To: <ncorange@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 19, 2008 1:02 PM Subject: [NCORANGE] New Members > We have had some members leave and new ones come on board.
