Christine, My Gunter line I have back to Asa B. Gunter[b-1814;d-1890] he was married to Clotilda Moring. He was a farmer in Orange County and when the county of Durham was made he became a citizen of that county. His one son Demeterius C. Gunter married Jane Isabelle Trice, who was the daughter of Chesley Page Trice, my great great grandfather. The surnames connected to Asa's daughters are Christian and Carlton and I am still working on them. Ok, I am working on all of them .... it is a never ending search.
