    3. It's been awhile since I've done more than answer other queries. I'm hoping several good deeds may earn one in return from somewhere, somehow. I'm still looking for two things in my Collins line from Orange County. I'm STILL looking for the FIRST wife of Bradley Collins, born 1787 in North Carolina. He was a son of Andrew Collins. He married in 1807/08 to an unknown as yet person. He had at least 3 children by his first wife. His oldest daughter and son, who were born of this wife were Keziah (daughter) and Andrew (son). She died in about 1815/16 and he married 2nd Jane Ray of Orange County in 1817. I believe his first wife must also have come from Orange County or an adjacent county, such as Chatham, Guilford or Rockingham. (There's no record of his first marriage being in Caswell, thus far.) It's possible he married her in Kentucky, but her family would have probably come from North Carolina and the Orange County area as well. His first children were born in Kentucky. I believe he went with an uncle to Kentucky to find new land and he definitely was not on very good terms with his father, Andrew Collins, which would have given him further incentive to be away for awhile. I'm also looking for the parents of Andrew Collins the father of Bradley (born 1757 or 1760 d. between 1810-1820). I suspect his parents brought him into Orange County from Virginia, but I haven't found any firm information to show when the family arrived, who the parents were or anyone that I'm certain was a brother of Andrew who might himself be a clue. I've got a thick file on Collins and have scoured many published books of records (such as they are since most are not truly complete) and on-line sources. I'm hoping someone has done a bit more research in these counties and may have found something that is not yet published or on-line. If I can get his line back to a particular line in Virginia, I've probably got the rest to the point of immigration. Cecilia L. Fabos-Becker San Jose, CA
