John there is a jpg image of old Indian trails & roads of NC 1660-1776 located at http://ncnatural.com/maps/pathsandtowns.jpg There is a trading path just NE of Hillsborough and then the Haw River area that is now Alamance has 2 Indian Roads named. Maybe this can help. Leanne Dooley
