I found a 1810 deed where Abraham Whitaker sold land to Robert Rhodes in Orange County, N.C. but could never find where the land was passed from Robert Rhodes to anyone else. At some point wouldn't it have to be passed to a child or wife or be redeeded to someone after Roberts death or have to be resold somewhere along the way? Any suggestions on how to research this?
