    3. Hi there, I will repost my family information for the benefit of new members. I am still looking for COOK/COOKE family information, and especially any information regarding John Cook, father to Edward Netty Cook, my gggggrandfather. Edward was born in 1760 in Orange Co. North Carolina. I believe his parents were John and Sarah Cook. I have a deed of land, (July 19, 1813) which divides all of John's land to his children after his death. It names his children as James, John, Edward, Archibald, and David Cook. It also names a Nehemiah Cook, which may be a brother. It also names Willliam and Martha Baldwin, as well as Henry King. The land being divided is in a place called Stoney Creek, in Orange County. I am looking for any information regarding any of these people mentioned on this deed. John and Sarah may have come from Sussex County Virginia (according to another land deed ). Is anybody here looking for the same ancestors?
