Betty, Do you have any idea how large of a cemetery Cedarwood is? I am planning a research trip to Northampton County for later this week and expect to be there at least three days. I am trying to find out as much info as possible on William Coleson Norwood and his family as possible. He married Eliza LeGrand and they had 10 children. He came to TX leaving behind his family in NC. In the on the 1848 San Augustine Co. TX tax roll for the first time. He is in TX there after. He was born in NC and in the 1850 Census he is listed as 55 years old, Eliza is 43. Three children Amanda Maud, John L., and Laura E. are already married. Not a problem. I just do not remember there being a Norwood in Rockingham County. The one that I do know of is here in Stanley County, a few miles south of where I now live.
