Ronda, Hello there, cousin! It's always nice to encounter another cousin. Thank you so very much for the information! I didn't know that Jonathan's middle name was Dowd. I knew his middle initial was D, but had no idea what it stood for. I am also glad to know who his father and other ancestors were. My ancestor Branch Moore's sister Rosetta married J. Brunson "Bruce" Boykin in Johnston County. Do you know who his parents were? I also have some information on Nathan Thomas Boykin, son of Jonathan and Mahitabel.
