I have the following from deed books 2 and 6: Nash Co., NC Deed Book 2, p. 145: 26 November 1789, The State of North Carolina grant to Rowland Ledbetter, by Gov. Sam. Johnston, a tract of 150 acres on both sides of Clark's Branch adjoining John Petticob and John Ledbetter. Nash Co., NC Deed Book 6, p. 285: 1797, Rolan Ledbetter deeds land to Henry Lewis.
