Surnames: WILLIAMSON, HINNANT, HOLIMAN, BOYKIN, DEANS Classification: Will Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VUB.2ACE/601 Message Board Post: Will of Ann Williamson November 8, 1807 Nash County, North Carolina In the name of god amen I Ann Williamson of the State of North Carolina and County of Nash being sick and weak in health of body but in perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto god Calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all to die do mak and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hand of almighty god that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of god and as touching Such worldly State wherewith it has pleased god to bless me in this life I give devise and dispose of the Same in the following manner and form first I leave my part of the working tools to be devied between James Hinnant and Hardy Williamson I also give to my Son Hardy Williamson one Negro woman by the Name of Pat also I give to my Son Joseph Williamson one Negro woman by the Name of Rachel also I give to my Son Thomas Williamson one Negro Boy by the Name of Arch I also leave my Horse to be sold to pay my debts and the money that is due to me I dispose of in the following manner when obtained I also give unto Samuel Holiman ten pounds Current money I also give to my daughter Ann Williamson ten pounds Current money I also give to my daughter Sarah Williamson ten pounds Current money then the remainder part to be equally devided between six of my Children here mentioned Martha Hinnant and Sarah Williamson and Hardy Williamson and Joseph Williamson and Thomas Williamson and Penelope Boykin this I admit into the care of my trusty friends Hardy Williamson and Joseph Williamson my executors by (ink blot) these freely to be possessed and enjoyed and I hereby disannul all and every other former testaments wills legacies bequests executors by me in any wise before named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the eighth Day of November in the year of our lord eighteen hundred and seven.
