This is the only information I have about the Hicks side of my family. I am hoping someone can help me go further or get more information. My father is Ernest Jasper Hicks (multiple siblings)(buried at Seven Paths); my grandfather is James Washington? Hicks; my grandmother is Lula Murray Hicks (buried in Samaria cemetery); my great grandmother is Nancy Hicks. I have been told that my great grandfather is a Griffin, and the Griffin man died, never marrying Nancy Hicks (could be why no one wants to talk!); and that James Hicks is listed in the Griffin family bible and is buried in the Griffin family cemetery somewhere near where Finch's Orchard is located . I have never heard of any siblings of Nancy Hicks or if she ever married; nor have I ever heard of any siblings of James Hicks. My father was born Oct 29 1923 and died Jan 1985. I don't know dates for any one else! Much gratitude for any information.
