Definitely easier with names and ages but Starky age 25-28 in 1840 disappears from the view, and looking under John Pully- the only other free black/mulatto- Children don't add up- unless 3 daughters died before next census. Although possible, the different name doesn't add either as he is Starkey in 1850. He did marry in Franklin in the 1820s so I will try to get data for Franklin census. Thanx
