Am assisting in the research of Jesse Ricks, of Pike County, Alabama. We have hit a wall and seek info on the estate of John Ricks, of Nash County. He had a son, Jesse, and there is no public information out there as to the disposition of Jesse's portion of his father's estate. Has anyone copied the will and estate papers? Is there a researcher in Nash County who is familiar with the estate? I would like to review the will and and settlement papers regarding returns to the children. Jesse Ricks was a wealthy man at his death in 1834, and he had children named John, Delilah, Mary, and Elizabeth. Have published the history of Jesse's son John and descendants.
