H. in other records) He was listed as Hinton in Nash Co. records and his birth year was listed as 1830. In 1852 he married Della Womble b. 1832, Nash Co., NC and the bondsman for this marriage was James A. F. Hunt. Hendon? and Della are later found in the 1870, census, residing in Grantham Township, Wayne Co., NC and in the 1880 census, residing in Fork Township, Wayne Co., NC. I noticed you listed a James A. Hunt b. 1829, and thought he may possibly be a brother or cousin.. Any info on Hendon, Hinton, Hindon Hunt and Della Womble would be appreciated.

All I know if my grandfather is Raleigh Cleveland Powell. His father was James Carson Powell and married Sarah Elizabeth Cooper. SHe died of breast cancer. They lived in WIlmington, but she was from Rocky Mount. And my Grandfather says her family is from there too. I'd love to find out more. He is pretty old and his memory is bad.
