I only know of a later, indirect connection.....Bolen/Bollen and Luvenia (Allen) Pulley's son, Short Pulley, married Clora Ann Evans. Clora Ann was the daughter of George Evans and his second wife Emily Wiggins Allen. George's first wife was Letha Ann Mithchell, they were the parents of Mary Estelle Evans who married Thomas Wiggins. Tom and Mary were the parents of Mollie Wiggins who married Luther Wilmon Pulley, who was the grandson of Jesse Pulley.

Definitely easier with names and ages but Starky age 25-28 in 1840 disappears from the view, and looking under John Pully- the only other free black/mulatto- Children don't add up- unless 3 daughters died before next census. Although possible, the different name doesn't add either as he is Starkey in 1850. He did marry in Franklin in the 1820s so I will try to get data for Franklin census. Thanx
