    2. Quan Pruitt
    3. Good Morning, Can anyone give me information about the area where fishing creek and beaverdam swamp meet on the boarder of Halifax county and Nash county. The city near this area is DeLorme on the Nash side and Bellamy Lake on the Halifax side. The information I need is: What court house do I write to for information for deed and will records? Is there a genealogical/historical society in that area? Would the public library in that area have information on (who has) books for sale about the area. Information on farms and slave records for 1760-1810. Are there plot records for that area/timeframe and how would I get a copy. The Powell family branch that I am researching left this area in/abt 1810 for Lincoln KY. Thank You, Quan

    3. Ronda, Hello there, cousin! It's always nice to encounter another cousin. Thank you so very much for the information! I didn't know that Jonathan's middle name was Dowd. I knew his middle initial was D, but had no idea what it stood for. I am also glad to know who his father and other ancestors were. My ancestor Branch Moore's sister Rosetta married J. Brunson "Bruce" Boykin in Johnston County. Do you know who his parents were? I also have some information on Nathan Thomas Boykin, son of Jonathan and Mahitabel. I'm sure I'll have more questions later. I am so glad to meet you!
