    1. Munroe, Bethune, Persons
    2. I am looking for a Catherine Bethune, who was the first wife of Malcolm Munroe of Drowning Creek. He later married Margaret Black and moved to Alabama in 1842. Colin A. Munroe (Malcolm's son) married Annie Bethune Person. Colin moved to Alabama between 1850 and 1856. In 1850 he was still in Moore County, living with Annie's son William A. Person and his wife, Margaret. Possibly Annie died and he remarried before he moved to Alabama. In 1860, he was living in Coosa County with his wife, Nancy whose age is quite different from Annie's age. I don't know if Catherine and Annie Bethune were related.
