Hello, I am trying to determine which McDUGALD/McDOUGALD family my grgr grandmother JANE McDUGALD belongs to. She was born 1813-1818 and died probably 1842-1844 She was John A. Johnson's first wife and the mother of Daniel C. Johnson born 1834, Mary A. Johnson born 1837 and Margaret Johnson born 4 May 1838, John Johnson born 1840, Jane E. Johnson born 16 Apr 1841 and Jennett born 1844. All these children born in Moore County. John A. Johnson lived in an area near the Buie, Pierce, Savage, McDugald, Cameron, McFadyen, and Parish families in Crain's Creek also called "Buie's Hill" in Moore County.
