I've seen many Brewer family trees on the web which have Pleasant Brewer, b. 1800, as the son of Ambrose and Oma Richardson Brewer of Moore County. BUT I saw one family tree that stated that Pleasant was an adopted son of this family. Does anyone else have information about a possible adoption? I'd like to hear from others researching this Brewer/Richardson line and particularly want to swap info about sources for the information.
