Elizabeth: There seem to be quite a few Hugh McKenzie's. My Hugh was born in 1725 in Skye, Scotland. He married Margaret Nicholson b. 1738 in Richmond Co. Hugh died in 1782 in Greenville, SC and was buried there. He was in the Rev. War. Daughter Mary(Polly) b.1760. Married Allen McDonald b.1740,Skye, Scotland, in 1782 Cumberland Co.,NC Allen died in 1828 in Moore Co. Their daughter Sarah b.1799 in Moore Co.Died 1880. Sarah married Edward Patterson b.1789, died 1865. Their daughter Amelia McMillian Patterson b. 1840, d. 1916, married Duncan McInnis. Amelia and Duncan are buried at the Mineral Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Jackson Springs. They are my Great Grandparents. If by chance in anyone's searches, they run across Daniel McInnis b. 1807 and Anna Black b. 1806, please let me know.They are Duncan's Parents and I don't have a clue who their parents were or where they were buried. Where in Greenville, SC was Hugh McKenzie buried? Is there a gravemarker for him?
