I am interested in the parents of Margaret BETHUNE, b. 1777 Isle of Skye, Scotland, who married my first cousin (4 times removed) John TYSON, b. 19 Mar. 1784 in Moore Co, NC. I'm wondering if Margaret is connected to these Bethunes. John TYSON and Margaret BETHUNE TYSON are buried in Old Scotch Graveyard in Moore Co. Children of John and Margaret were: Eliza, who married MCINTOSH; Jane, who married MCGILVARY; John Jr., who died at 19; Aaron Moore, who died at 11; Neill B., who died at 17; Thomas Bethune TYSON who married Mary Jane PERSON in 1842 in Moore Co and who co-founded the Tyson & Jones Buggy Company in Carthage, Moore Co.; and Margaret Ann TYSON, who married William Dawson SMITH in Moore Co. in 1835. I would also be interested in information on the families the Tyson daughters married into, ie MCINTOSH, MCGILVARY, PERSON, and SMITH.
