    3. I'm researching Lucinda Shields b ca 1819 Moore Co NC d Aug 22 1884 Hall Co GA. She m 1839 moore Co. NC Everett Maness b 1819 Moore Co d 15 Aug 1876 Hall CoGA Lucinda's father was Cornelius Shields and her mother might be Molly Davis d/o Robert Davis & Nancy Cheek. I think Cornelius had a sister Catherine (Kate) who m. Nathan McManess. Cornelius Shields is in the 1800 Moore Co census on page 239. The only other Shields in that census that I saw were Benjamin Shields and Rubin Shields. Cornelius is not in the 1810 census, but Patrick, Archibald, neill and Ruben Shields are.
