    3. Thank You. I have a theory that the father of Jesse Bean mentioned here was from the city of Washington, Rappahannock County, Virginia (surveyed and plotted on 24 July 1749 OS by then 17-year-old George Washington). The father of Jesse Bean removed with his family from this northern Virginia frontier trading town about 1757 and travelled southward to North Carolina. Somewhere in the region surrounding what is now Hyco Lake (created in 1969 by daming the Hyco River) in Caswell or Persons County (it was then part of the very large Bladen County), Jesse Bean was born. His father then continued southward to Montgomery County, where he lived until after the Revolutionary War. I think he then moved to Moore County. I am still piecing together clues to unravel the Bean family in Moore County (some of whom moved to Rowan/Davidson County). *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 9/1/03, at 05:29, Gleebigg@aol.com wrote: >Here are the entries on Jesse and Susannah Bean from the minutes: > >page 1 >The following persons were drawn and impannelled as a Grand Jury to wit >...
