Thanks for the information. I have done some research from Family members. Six people have told me that Henry Clay Sheffield was a Sheriff or a Deputy Sheffield or maybe even worked for the US Treasury Dept. He could Deputitize people to help him in the raid and destruction of Moonshine Stills. But I have not been able to prove this as of this time. Also my grandmother Cora Alice Johnson was a School Teacher at Melton School. And that my great grandfather hired her. This I am not sure of. Because I can not find any record that Henry Clay Sheffield was on the school board. But this has only been told to me by one person. The other people had not heard of this.
