No, I don't have anything on this line, but I found the following that Bill Mele had on Maness/Nall. Front Center are John Wesley Maness born September 13, 1844 died July 17, 1922 and his wife Francis Bellzura Nall born June 11, 1848 died October 28, 1924. John Wesley and his children were born and raised in Moore County in the area called Hemp. The area where they lived is best described as junctions of Howards Mill Rd, Smyrna Rd, and Maness Rd just North of Robbins. From left to right on the back row are my grandfather Thomas Franklin Maness born December 21, 1880 in Moore County died July 27, 1963 in Chattam County. Next is his brother Lemuel Baxter Maness born June 23,1883 died December 20,1958 and his sister Sarah Francis (Maness) Hussey born May 28, 1896 died July 25, 1886. Both Sarah and Lemuel were born and died in Moore County. Together with their brother William Wesley Maness not shown ran a Cannery in Robbins approximately 1913. Later they closed the Cannery and opened a General Store on the corner of Maness Rd and Howards Mill Rd. The store was open for business until 1931. The old wooden building which housed the store has since been replaced with a cinder block building housing a small convenience store. All family members except for Thomas Maness are buried in Smyrna Methodist Church Cemetery. John Wesley is on the Moore County Civil War Honor Roll. If I get anything else, I'll let you know.
