    3. Hi Becky: Thanks for your informative report. I'm sure that by now everyone knows the Moore county heritage book is a viable and legitimate project. We were particularly impressed when we visited the new website: http://www.nccountyheritage.com/mooreco.html The list of names on the first page of this website, is a virtual "who's who" of genealogists in and around Moore County. We've also seen a glowing report from Cleveland Co., NC Book Chair Nancy Hughes; mhughes81@carolina.rr.com. This has been posted widely. Her Cleveland Co., NC Vol. 2 will be published in late summer of 2004. At our meeting on May 20th, we had a capacity crowd, including a whole contingent of folk from the Scotland Co., NC book committee. They all have roots in Moore County and want to make certain they are included in the Moore county book! You may want to visit their Scotland Co. website: http://www.countyheritagebooks.tv/ Another unimpeachable testimonial/reference is from Sue Ashby at sueashby@earthlink.net As you know, she is "list mom" for the NCMOORE-L@rootsweb.com site. We appreciate her encouragement as we launch this exciting project! Rootsweb by-laws and constitution allow posts for fund-raisers, IF they are for Genealogical Societies. Proceeds from the book Moore Co., NC Heritage - 2005 will go to the Moore Co. Genealogical Society, and other Genealogy (Library) projects in Moore County, NC. By the way, more than 30 incentive awards have been given to those who submitted early stories and photos! Best to you as you prepare your stories and pictures for the new book! R. There [is] so many of you all that wrote to me that I am now decided to send this to everybody so I want have to write the same thing to so many people. I believe that the history of [prior] emails will clear up everything. I am a direct person and I dont care for these games or just marketing as was said when they wrote back to me. In fact I didn't think we could use the roots web for marketing. Thank you everyone. Becky __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Friends. Fun. Try the all-new Yahoo! 3. Hi List, Have to correct a mistake here. I'm not the "List Mom" for Moore Co. I only have the Moore Co. Web Page. In fact, I'm not sure I know who the list 'Owner' is now. Can he/she sign on and let us know? Thanks for the lovely compliment anyway...
