I know that by the early 1970s McCain was used for many chest diseases besides TB. Lung cancer etc. My brother at age 26 was sent there for a couple of months after a weird pneumonia that left one lung half collapsed. After a couple of months of tests they opened his chest and peeled away the scar tissue and his lung opened back up. kay
