Hi folks, The poll is over. All list members that voted have agreed to keep the list's header in the subject line. 26 members voted, myself included. Not one disagreed. I do appreciate each vote as this list will always remain a community effort, without all of you, there is no list. The list will now have a new header in the subject line. It will read NCMONT instead of NCMONTGO, never did like the GO on the end, anyhow. :) And this will give more room to add surnames in the subject line. I hope nobody has any objections. Again, thanks to all who voted, I don't like to make changes without seeing how everyone will feel about it. Ok, on to other things. Thanks to two list members, Mike Deaton and Ellen in Florida, I have learned a few things and am now able to make the marriages a bit more readable. Some may still come out not so hot due to the condition of the copies I have but they are coming out better than before they shared their hints with me. Thank you so much! For those that are already up, I will wait until I am done and then go back and rescan those and try to make them like the ones that are coming out now. Please remember to post your lines folks, often. Folks come and go on these lists and it is a good idea to post at least once a month in case someone new has come aboard. Here is hoping that all of you find new connections! Now I will get back to work on these records and I may jump off to add some wills that I copied as well for a change of pace.
