I just got a message titled: Re: Re: DUGGER: Scarborough question From: _e.h.yarbrough@worldnet.att.net (E YARBROUGH) with an attachment but no text message. I sent a message to the person asking him to confirm that he intended to send me an attachment since I wasn't expecting anything from him and his name is unfamiliar (although there are Yarbroughs affiliated with the Scarboroughs). The message came back as undeliverable. This indicates to me that there is a higher risk than normal that the attachment has a virus and I'm not going to open it. I'm letting the list know about it because someone apparently picked up my email address from the list and possibly the sender's email address also (I understand that the _ is a tricky way to get around using an email address. It could mean that the person who really uses that email address (minus the _) has received a virus. This is actually the third time I've received such a message. The first time it happened, it was a sales pitch. The last two have had attachments and could be worse and since the subject line is picked up from a legitimate message, it may be more likely to cause damage. It could happen to someone else. Be warned and be careful. Cynthia McDaniel
