Looks to me like John ? LEWIS? And either a "dr" or a "ck" after his name. I have a John LEWIS in my tree and am wondering who this man on this document might be, if I am judging his name right. Would anyone know if a John LEWIS was either a Deputy Register of Deeds or a Clerk in the court in the time frame of 1860 which is what I think this date is.
