Hi folks, Last night I posted a query in regards to this couple. Now I have the marriage online as well as another query as well: Taylor ROBINSON To Jane CRANFORD 1891 Marriage Record Image Surname Mentioned In Record Are: MORRIS, ROBINSON, CRANFORD, SCARBORO, MOORE, HARRIS Can be seen at: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cranford/mont0493.html Really, really would like to talk to anyone who might have knowledge on this couple and share data with them. Jane was the dau of my 3rd great grandfather. I have been told prior that Jane's mother (also named Jane (MILLER) Cranford, my 3rd great grandmother) had remarried to a Doc ROBINSON, which I believe is wrong and that it is possible that the lady who gave me the verbal data 5 years back was mixed up or I misunderstood her. And the dau, Jane Cranford had actually married the ROBINSON instead, hence the marriage above. Does anyone know if Taylor went by a nickname of Doc? Also another possible connection could be thru the HOWELL family. Last night in plundering the net, I came across these HOWELL's in the cemetery listing done by Wayne Dunn (thank you Wayne again, for all that work you have done for the folks of Montgomery!) Candor Town Cemetery Montgomery County, NC This town cemetery is located north of main town on Hwy #220. (possible family of Ette Howell, dau of Jane CRANFORD. Howell, Annie R.- 1925 - 1979 Howell, Danna Annette-6/19/1958 Infancy Howell, Ella Cranford-8/14/1879 - 10/18/1947 Howell, J. Spencer- 5/4/1876 - 2/23/1944 Howell, June Spencer *WW2 1915 - 1969 Howell, Max Cranford *WW2 1921 - 1982 I feel these folks are related to me and possibly from the Jane Cranford/Taylor ROBINSON connection thru dau Ette (verbal history here, don't take my word till I can find proof of such for this paragraph, please) (not sure if Ette was child of Taylor or Jane's before marriage, can someone clarify?) and they had one possible dau who was named Rose, who lived and worked in Greensboro, NC? Someone please help if you can. I am grasping at straws at the moment and itching to get back to Montgomery now.
