Rev War October 5, 1844 The directions to the location of this grave stone are as follows: "Take Rt 731 west from Mt. Gilead. Turn Right onto Bowles Road. Then turn left onto SR #1540, also known as Valley View Church Rd. Look for a small dirt trail on the left side of Valley View Rd. (there may be an old house trailer as marker). The dirt trail winds around a field for about 3/4 mile. Then you must get out of your car and hike into the woods to find the grave stone which is not visible from the clearing.
