Hi folks This is an interesting one to say the least. Might not be to those in the know, but to me it is. I will explain below after the announcement as to why it is interesting to me: Tuscurora "J.R." THOMAS To Gennetta BEAN 1892 Marriage Record Image Surnames Mentioned In Record Are: KEARNS, THOMAS, BEAN, SCARBORO, CORNELISON, RUSSELL Can be seen at the following URL: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cranford/mont0187.html On the marriage application the name of the groom is Tuscurora THOMAS, yet on the Certificate itself, the groom's name is J.R. THOMAS. Now is this the same man? Tuscurora a nickname maybe? I have posted in the past another record, which had another couples name listed on the application, etc, with their names scratched out and another couples names written over it. Amazing record that one was. If anyone has an idea if these two names are actually the same man, please let me and the list know. Have fun folks!
