Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots, Vol.4, p.��Serial: 11393; Volume: 3 The above reference has GIDEON THOMPSON (SR) listed, does anyone have any information about what he did to be listed among the Rev. Patriots? He is buried in Hopewell Cemetery, his two sons James (Capt.) and Gideon (JR) both served in the Rev. war but I can not find a record of Gideon (SR) serving (he should have been too old). I do not have access to the referenced book, found the reference in the Ancestry.com data base. I would appreciate any information or suggestions about this person. Thank you in advance.
