Hello Erin... I am having the oddest sensation.....I have a great grandfather who was born 29 April 1852 in Alexander Co NC. His name is James Bradford Keever. He had a brother born in 1843 named George Pinkney Keever.....I have wondered where both names could have come from and I wonder if I've just found the source of one of them. Was your James Bradford a minister or war hero or something else that would inspire people to name their children after him ?....or do you think there might be a connection somewhere ? The parents of the previously mentioned sons were Lawson Keever and Malinda E. Johnston of Lincoln Co NC.
